1.5% IS CRAZY! How can the rate be so low?

The 1.5% on an Option ARM is a start rate. It goes up a little every
year for five years.

So if you owe $1,000 in interest and only make an $800 payment,
$200 gets added to the loan principal.
BOTTOM LINE: You have a mortgage payment that
is less than your interest payment.
